CE standard
What is CE standard?
CE marking is a mark that indicates that a device or product complies with the essential requirements of all EC directives.
It is a standard managed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), and certification and acquisition of CE marking is a mandatory condition for exporting products to Europe.
Scope of coverage
Medical equipment, simple pressure vessels, building materials, gas-burning equipment, toy safety, machine safety, personal protective equipment, etc. based on EC directives.
All prescribed goods must bear the mark and authorization to use the CE mark requires documented evidence that the goods meet the prescribed standards.
