Efforts towards the Environment

A large-scale solar power system with a total capacity of 885 kW has been installed with consideration for the earth's environment. At this eco-factory, solar power is maximally utilized, contributing to the protection of the earth's environment and prevention of global warming.
In September 2011, we received the 13th Shinshu Eco Award.

July 2013...Installation and operation of a 205 kW system at Ina Third Plant

December 2022...Additional installation and operation of a 280 kW system at Ina Second Plant
*Full self-consumption, with the ability to store some power in batteries for emergency use during power outages.

In 2014, about 90% of the lighting fixtures used in the factories were switched to LED (no mercury lamps are used).
We are making efforts to reduce power consumption and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions during power generation.

Using the inclination of the solar panels installed on the factory roof, rainwater is collected in an underground tank. The collected rainwater is reused for flushing toilets and watering lawns. We are making effort to coexist with nature by utilizing natural resources in Nagano.
