Valve
Ball Valve (20 & 60 Series)
Ball Valve turns on and off air pressure to pneumatic devices.
Water can be admitted.
Advantages
Ball Valve turns on and off air pressure to pneumatic devices.
Water can be admitted.
It provides effective sectional area appropriate to the tube size.
PPS material is adopted for 20 & 60 series. Water can be used.
Added convenient options to the 20 series and 60 series!
"Fixing holder" that is convenient for union type fixing
"Elbow type co-rotation stopper" that prevents co-rotation when the elbow type handle rotates
"Lockout" to prevent erroneous operation of the handle

Warnings
*Make sure to follow the instructions below when the fluid medium is water.
Surge pressure must be controlled lower than max. operating pressure when using water as a fluid medium.
Tap water in Japan free from foreign substances or contamination can be used. Carry out the evaluation under an actual operating condition for using other kind of water.
Be sure to place Insert Ring (WR) into the tube edge when using water as a fluid medium.

Detailed Safety Instructions
Warning
1.For the 20 & 60 series, do not use them unless all the conditions stated in the specification are met when the fluid medium is water. It may cause damage to the product, disengagement of the tube, or leakage.
Caution
1.Do not use a lubricator on products.
2.When operating the 20 & 60 series, turn the handle until it stops at 90 degrees. Inadequate turning may cause poor continuity and insufficient flow due to insufficient switching.
3.When using under negative pressure, install a vacuum filter on the suction side. Dust sucked in may cause malfunctioning.
4.Do not pull out the locking pin, as this will cause the unit to separate. Also, make sure that the lock pin is securely inserted when using.
Frequently Asked Questions for Valve Series
Since MVM (Micro Switch Pin Type valve) is built in the product, please connect the tube by the following procedure.
1. First find the protrusions on the sides of the product to fix the pedal.
2. Press the fixing protrusions using a tool like a driver.
3. The pedal will be off from the protrusions and then open the pedal cover.
4.
Take out the incorporated spring.
*Make sure not to loose the spring at this step.
5. Pass the 2 tubes for IN and OUT from the plumbing holes on the sides or the backside.
6.
Connect the tubes to IN and OUT ports of the built-in Mechanical Valve(MVM).
*Make sure push the tubes fully by the tube ends.
7. Set back the spring to the initial place and close the pedal cover.
8. Step the pedal and make sure Mechanical Valve works properly. Also check the pedal returns to the initial position when the foot is off.
There are two types of hand valves, two-way valves and three-way valves.
The two-way valve only switches between stopping and flowing air. "-2" at the end of the format is a two-way valve type.
The 3-way valve has a function to stop the flow and exhaust the residual pressure on the OUT side.
How to distinguish between two-directional control valve and three-directional control valve
If it is two-directional control valve type, there is no problem even if it is used in the reverse direction.
Three-way directional control valve type has a residual pressure release function, so be sure to keep the direction.
The Hand valve is for air only. Use Ball valves (20 series, 60 series) for water application.
Check the mounting direction.
The three-way directional control valve has a residual pressure release function, and when the valve is closed, the air on the OUT side is exhausted.
If the mounting direction is reversed, the air on the IN side will continue to leak.
