*1. Adhere to the following conditions in case the fluid is water or thermal oil.
Surge pressure must be controlled lower than max. operating pressure when using water or thermal oil as a fluid medium.
Tap water in Japan, which is soft water (low mineral content) can be used. Carry out the evaluation under an actual operating condition for using other kind of water.
Be sure to place Insert Ring into the tubing edge when the tubing is inserted into Push-in Fitting with water or thermal oil as a fluid medium.
*2. The value of max. operating pressure is measured at 20ºC at 65%RH. When the tubing is used in different conditions, consider a safety ratio of the pressure with an enough margin, referring to Burst Pressure Curve.

Frequently Asked Questions for Tube Series
Vacuum Tube UD and Soft Polyurethane Tube UC are soft tubes. These tubes are suitable for compact piping which requires small bending radius.
On the contrary, Fluororesin (PFA) Tube SFT, Fluororesin (FEP) Tube SET and Spatter Tube FB are hard tubes.

One-touch fittings can be connected as long as the outer diameter of the tube is the same.
Please note that even if the outer diameter of the Barb Fitting and Compression Fitting is the same, they cannot be connected if the inner diameter is different.
Our products are intended for indoor use in principle, and outdoor use is not covered by the warranty, but please refer to the following for the characteristics of each tube material.
Since it is greatly affected by the usage environment, it needs to be inspected and replaced regularly before use.

As for tube color, dark color such as black is more resistant to ultraviolet rays than light color such as clear color.
Please make your judgment after considering the possibility and risk that the tube will deteriorate faster than indoor use due to the influence of outdoor temperature, humidity, dust, ultraviolet rays, etc.
Depending on the model types, water can be or cannot be run through. Standard Pisco push-in fitting can be used with water if the conditions are matched. The followings are the conditions to flow water.
1. Make sure to hold the surge pressure, which is temporally raising pressure when closing valve, under the maximum operating pressure.
2. Tap water can be run through. Since other types of water may match our specifications appropriately, please test and evaluate well on actual application in advance.
3. Use Insert-ring (tube inner core retaining pipe made of stainless steel).
Use of Insert-ring is recommended to prevent tube shrinking when using water for a long period of time since tube shrink may cause tube loosing or leaking easily.
Tube color: Clear and clear colors can be checked for fluid (liquid). (Those with a dark tube color are not suitable for checking fluid (liquid))
Even if the fluid (liquid) is colorless and transparent, if air (air bubbles) is mixed in the liquid, it is easy to check the flow of the liquid by the flow.

However, even if the liquid is flowing, if the inside of the tube is filled with the liquid (air (air bubbles) are not mixed in the liquid), the inside of the tube may be irrespective of the color of the tube or the color of the fluid (liquid). You need to check it carefully. ※Figure 2
If you continue to flow the liquid for a while, small bubbles may adhere to the inner diameter of the tube, so you can check the presence or absence of the liquid with the bubbles.

Basically it is not possible.
A very soft tube as soft as squashed with fingers is difficult to insert to a push-in fittings. Even it could be inserted, drawing strength is weak and it may be easily slipped through.
Although PISCO Vacuum Tube (UD) is soft that can be squashed with fingers, it can be used for push-in fittings by installing Insert Ring (Pipe-shaped ring made of stainless steel to be installed into inner side of the tube).
The maximum pressure range depends on a tube type. For popular polyurethane tube (UB type), it is 0.8Mpa and for Nylon tube (NA type), it is 1.5MPa. For the other tube types, please refer to our catalogue to check the maximum pressure range.
*) The above mentioned maximum pressure range is at the temperature of 20℃, RH of 65%. According to the temperature, pressure-resistance changes. Please refer to "Burst Pressure Curve "on our catalogue.
Our nylon tube is featuring excellent pressure resistance and lined up for general plumbing tube.
The maximum pressure range of Nylon Tube (NA) is 1.5Mpa (at 20℃, 65%RH). It has rich variety in size (mm, inch) and color. On the other hand, Soft Nylon Tube (NB)'s maximum pressure range is moderated 1.0Mpa (at 20℃, 65%RH), while it is more bendability compared to Nylon Tube (NA), so that easy bending in plumbing is its property.
By inserting it into the tube, it suppresses the deformation of the tube due to changes over time and prevents "leakage" and "detachment".
Be sure to use the insert ring when piping liquids such as water or connecting soft tubes to one-touch fitting.
Basically, choose the one with the same number as the tube model code.
Example) Tube: UB0640 → Insert ring: WR0640
However, some models have inch size that is also used as millimeter size, so please check the applicable size of the insert ring.
Our Insert Ring (WR) is specifically designed and developed for use with our tube series. Even though the tube size is same, tube loosening or installation failure may be caused by a different tolerance when using it with other brand tube.
TPU is Thermoplastic Polyurethane. It is a kind of plastic generally called urethane rubber or urethane resin.
Thermoplasticity refers to the characteristics which material becomes pliable or moldable above a specific temperature and returns to a solid state upon cooling
There are 2 kinds in what is called urethane; ester and ether.
TPU(ether)
Example : UB, UC, UBS, UD, UQ, UCQ, UL, etc.
Elastomer made by reaction of ether and diisocyanate. High water resistance.
TPU(ester)
Example : UBT, UE
Elastomer made by reaction of ether and diisocyanate. High mechanical strength, but is susceptible to hydrolysis.
PISCO tubes * have printed cut marks at 500 mm interval which helps cutting.
*) UB0180, UB0212, CTA, CTB, PFA, and SET are the exceptions.
Changing of cut mark interval or printing no cut mark can be available as special order products. (The minimum cut mark interval is 500 mm)

Water-resistance "WA" discontinued in 2009.
The substitute products are Nylon Tube NA and NB series.
It is plasticizer which is an addition agent to provide flexibility with tubes. The white powder is oozed and crystallized plasticizer on the tube surface. This phenomenon is called bloom.
This phenomenon inevitably arises on nylon using addition agent. It does not effect tube performances such as pressure resistance or chemical resistance, but in the long run, flexibility tends to decrease.
The vacuum tube "NC" was discontinued in 2010.
The current equivalent is the vacuum tube "UD".
The material has been changed from nylon to polyurethane.
