Specifications
SET0420
| Fluid medium | Air, Water (Conditional *1), Other chemicals (Conditional *1) |
|---|---|
| Max. operating pressure (65%RH at 20º) | 2.7MPa *2 |
| Max. vacuum | -100kPa |
| Operating temperature range | -65 to 200ºC (No freezing) |
Warning
*1. The following conditions must be observed when the fluid medium is water or liquid.
When using water or liquid, the surge pressure must be kept below the maximum operating pressure.
General tap water in Japan, free from foreign substances or contamination, can be used. Carry out the evaluation under an actual operating condition for using other kind of water.
Be sure to place Insert Ring (WR) into the tube edge when tube is inserted into push-in fittings and using water or liquid as a fluid medium.
As for chemicals, mixed gas, etc., they may vary depending on the conditions of use, so please check the compatibility of our specifications before use.
*2. The value of max. operating pressure is measured at 20ºC and 65% RH. For other temperatures, the Burst Pressure Curve should be used with a sufficient safety margin.

Detailed Safety Instructions
Warning
1.When using chemicals, solvents, mixed gases, or similar media as the operating fluid, check chemical resistance before use. Depending on the operating conditions, these media may cause damage to the fitting body, tube disconnection, or leakage.
2.Even though the evaluation on the chemical resistance chart shows positive with FEP material, there is a possibility that problems may occur due to factors such as temperature, pressure or physical action by stress. Before permanent installation, test the equipment with the chemicals under the specific conditions of your application, especially for applications with solvents
3.Avoid using in areas prone to vibrations.
4.For long-term use, it is recommended to use Compression Fittings. Due to material degradation over time, leaks may occur. Perform regular maintenance, and promptly replace the product if any leaks are detected.
