What is the REACH regulation?

This is a regulation for chemical substance management that came into force on June 1, 2007 in the EU.
An abbreviation that uses the initials of the legal name "The Regulation for Registration Evaluation Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals", it is a comprehensive registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction system for chemical substances.
This law requires companies to manage the risks of chemicals to human health and the environment.
The REACH regulation covers not only chemical substances used by companies, but also chemical substances in products widely used by general consumers.
